Chiropractic Care For Infants & Toddlers
Chiropractic babies thrive and have the best start in life. No baby is too small for an adjustment. A well-adjusted spine and optimally functioning nervous system are the keys to healthy growth and development.
The birth process can be traumatic and aggressive, with increased amount of abnormal stress and tension put on the newborn’s spine, musculature, and nerves from the twisting and pulling used to deliver a baby. 60-90 pounds of pressure can be put on your baby’s neck during delivery and these delivery methods can create micro-traumas of the spinal structures and nervous system.
Chiropractic adjustments following birth have demonstrated positive effects in infants experiencing difficulties including trouble breastfeeding or latching, colic, reflux, chronic ear infections, allergies, asthma, ADD, chronic bed wetting, digestive issues, constipation, difficulty sleeping, general fussiness, and weakened immune system function.
At Journey Chiropractic, newborn & infant adjustments are specific, gentle, safe and look much like a gentle massage. We use a soft pressure (the amount of pressure you would use to test the ripeness of a tomato) to relieve the irritation on the nervous system so your baby can grow healthy and happy.

"Dr. Allen is so amazing"
Dr. Maddie Allen is so amazing. Always a friendly face to see and knows what she’s doing. I could not even bend over before I saw her today and I’m already feeling so much better and can get things done.
"Dr. Allen is the best there is"
Dr. Allen is the best there is. I just started going here and the neck/back pain I’ve had for years has healed with a couple of visits. She pays close attention to what I’m saying and is really good at explaining things for me to understand! Very friendly. Definitely recommend!!
"I make it a PRIORITY to visit Dr. Allen"
Whenever I fly out to Seattle I make it a PRIORITY to visit Dr. Allen. I’ve since specialists for my back issues and she’s the only one who takes the time to listen. She’s taught me how to take care of myself after each treatment as well.
